What Drives Us

Our mission began with a deeply personal challenge. Ninad Saraf, our founder, left his practice to dive into the world of robotics rehabilitation, determined to address the pressing issues in rehab technology. But as he delved deeper, he discovered a much larger problem—a glaring gap in the medtech development ecosystem itself.

As Ninad worked through various agencies and consultants, he encountered endless hurdles. Promises were made, money was paid, but the results? Often disappointing or completely nonexistent. There was a serious lack of transparency, professionalism, and quality in the system. Some agencies even turned out to be fraudulent, with no real expertise or capability to deliver. What became clear was that the medtech development landscape was not only challenging—it was a maze, one of the hardest industries to navigate, especially when it came to hardware development.

Beyond the immediate issues of transparency, Ninad noticed a much deeper problem: the lack of a dedicated hardware development ecosystem in India. The resources were scattered, and there was hardly any mentorship for those venturing into hardtech. Finding the right talent for hardware development was another mountain to climb, and funding for such projects was even harder to secure. In an industry dominated by software solutions, hardtech innovations were severely underfunded and overlooked.

Additionally, healthcare professionals, despite their sharp insights and deep expertise, often struggled to bridge the gap between medical problems and tech solutions. They were brilliant at identifying issues but lacked the exposure to technology development. Many, though passionate about solving these problems, couldn't afford to give up their practice to dive into product development full-time. They needed a trusted partner to help them navigate the complexities of turning ideas into reality while they continued their crucial work in healthcare.
